SNOWPROM Specialists Successfully Complete Load rope replacement projects in Kazakhstan and Turkey

In December 2025, specialists from SNOWPROM performed a complex of rope replacement works at two international facilities — in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Turkey.

This critical procedure is a key component of aerial ropeway maintenance. It is carried out as scheduled upon reaching the rope’s designated service life to ensure the long-term safety, reliability, and uninterrupted operation of the entire system.

Facility: “Kok-Tobe,” Almaty, Kazakhstan
In the beginning of the month, work was completed on the Kok-Tobe ropeway, a key piece of urban infrastructure in Almaty. On the 1,620-meter line with an elevation differential of 234 meters, specialists performed a full replacement of the load rope. The operations on the high-support towers (40 and 38 meters) posed a particular technical challenge. Additionally, precise adjustments were made to the drive station equipment.

Facility: Denizli Teleferik, Denizli, Turkey
At the end of December, the company completed a project on the Denizli Teleferik ropeway in Turkey. A load rope replacement was carried out on the 1,469-meter route, which features a significant elevation differential of 625 meters. All work was completed on schedule and in full compliance with safety regulations.

The execution of these projects marks a significant milestone in promoting the SNOWPROM brand on the global market. The successful completion of complex technical tasks within tight deadlines not only reinforces the company’s status as a leading industry expert but also clearly demonstrates its ability to meet the highest international standards. The work performed lays the foundation for many years of safe and uninterrupted operation of these facilities, contributing to the development of the transport and tourism infrastructure in both regions.
