Russian specialists from SNOWPROM modernize a high-altitude ropeway in Turkey
At the end of December 2025, engineers from SNOWPROM completed a project to replace the load rope on the Denizli Teleferik ropeway in the eponymous Turkish city. The successful execution of this project on one of the region’s topographically challenging sites strengthens the Russian company’s position in the international market for specialized technical services.
Load rope replacement is a mandatory scheduled procedure that directly determines the safety and reliability of ropeway transport. Performing such work on remote and geographically complex facilities requires impeccable logistics, highly qualified personnel, and strict adherence to international standards.
Technical Specifications and Operational Conditions:
- Extreme elevation differential: the project was implemented on a 1,469-meter-long line featuring one of the region’s most significant elevation differentials—625 meters.
- Meticulous planning: all project phases, from equipment delivery to final commissioning tests, were executed within the strictly defined timeline.
- Safety priority: all technical regulations and industrial safety standards were rigorously adhered to at every stage.
The successful completion of this project serves as a clear demonstration of SNOWPROM’s capability to solve the most complex engineering challenges anywhere in the world. The company has not only ensured the long-term and safe operation of a crucial tourism facility but has also showcased its export potential and high-level international competitiveness.
