In mid-March 2025 an opening ceremony and launch of the first ropeways was held in Mamison Resort. Thanks to the brilliant minds at SNOWPROM group, the project was brought to life in the blink of an eye! A system of ropeways was erected for the guests of the resort: A 8-seater gondola ropeway and a 6-seater chairlift.

The Mamison Resort, located in the Alagirsky District of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, recognized as one of the most ambitious projects in the Republic’s history.

The Mamison Resort is located in the stunning mountain valley of Mamison Gorge, an area with unique and unparalleled natural, historical and cultural resources, as well as super-long slopes that are perfect for all abilities.

The project is implemented in the special economic area of “Mamison”, which is intended for tourism and recreation. The project will be operational year-round. During the winter months, tourists will have access to the ski infrastructure, which will include a variety of ski slopes and a snow park.

The gondola ropeway became the longest gondola-type ropeway in the country – 3.4 km – and has unique technical features. Taking into account the challenging terrain, it was erected on 21 towers, between which 85 eight-seater cabins will be traveling.

The 1.7 km long chairlift was erected on 13 towers.

The first stage alone launched total of 14 kilometers of slopes of different difficulty levels: from the green (perfect for beginners!) to the blue and red slopes (challenging yet rewarding for the more experienced skiers) – and the height difference is up to 930 meters!
