July 15, 2012, the general contractor for the ski resort construction and the management of Veduchi LLC signed an agreement in the Itum-Kalinsky district.

The design and construction of the resort is carried out according to the master plan developed by Alp-Project LLC.

R. A. Kadyrov noted that Veduchi project is of particular importance to the social and economic development of the Chechen Republic. He pointed out, that the construction of the resort will increase the standard of living of the population in mountain regions rapidly.

The investment in the construction of the resort will reach up to 1.2 billion rubles this year. In general, the construction of “Veduchi” will cost 15 billion rubles. The authorities of the republic hope to get up to two thousand working positions at this facility.

R. A. Kadyrov confirmed that the resort will take up to 800 hectares. The authorities are planning to build 19 trails stretching up to 46 km, will be able to accommodate 12 thousand skiers per hour, a hotel with 400 rooms and 20 chalets.
